HOME SWEET HOME.
It's nice to be living back at home... no bills to pay, warm carpeted floors, a cosy room, family get togethers- the list is endless. I really appreciate having my own room- a space to make your own and fill with personal things that show your personality- mine is exactly that with lots of red and patriotism thrown in! Looking out of my bedroom window onto yesterday's blue skies that filtered above the white cloudy puffs, made be glad to be home in my own space to appreciate the small things in life and the fact that the sun was brightening up the house, the golden rays filling the frosty air, was the crowning glory.

C H A N E L
Cue the quilted handbags, black tweed and monochrome. It's time for the Chanel Spring 2011 RTW collection at the Grand Palais in Paris. Where else? The catwalk floor, adorned with swirly black and white detail amongst three water displays, immitated the beauty of Versailles. Lily Allen, Keira Knightley, Anna Wintour, Vanessa Paradis, Claudia Schiffer and Rachel Bilson were amongst those who attended, as well as the original Chanel muse Ines de la Fressange, who so elegantly glided along the catwalk alongside the genius himself, Karl Lagerfeld. The cutest addition to the show was the 2 year-old son of model Brad Kroenig, who was wearing the same white tweed and triple denim combo as his father, clung onto his hand, whilst models in cream and gold tweed hot pants stomped about the stage in wedged sandals.
Oh, wow. Karl never fails to let me down; he really does put on a show. I'm loving the contrast of the ladylike silhouettes with the clumpiness of the footwear and the beautifully flawless complexions. On my wish list are the black strappy wedged sandals, grey jacket and white ruffled cocktail dress. I'm now longing for the spring more than ever...
What do you think of the collection?

100 years of Disney
Next week marks the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney and it has got me thinking about my favourite characters that he has so cleverly adapted over the years. What instantly springs to mind is the memory of me being a child again, sitting crossed legged in front of the telly, eyes transfixed on the magic carpet, or the swirly world (and red hair) Aerial hates living in, but that I always wanted to. I adore all things Disney- Disney World, Disney films, Disney memorabilia- it really is escapism and nostalgia at its best, mixed into a colourful animated world. I have hundreds of favourite characters from the classics but here are just a few that come at the top of the list.
What is your favourite Disney film?
What is your favourite Disney film?
"Look at this trove, treasures untold..."
"Where the lazy daisies love the very peaceful life they lead..."
"Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?"
"I won't grow up, I won't grow up."
"You'll be in my heart..."
"...'cos a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at!"
"No one to tell us no, or where to go..."
"Tale as old as time, true as it can be..."
"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream..."
"Stands out to be Minnie Mouse dressed in blue."

BACK FOR GOOD.
Wow, it's been a while since I have posted anything on here! It's just I have been so busy, what with work experience during the middle of last month and back to Uni at the end. Plus, a birthday, christening, family move-in and my Dad's return from the Himalayas were all crammed into one hectic weekend.
And, the not-so-sweet icing on the cake...
...loss of the world wide web. Oh, the horror!
But it's back and finallllllly I can share with you a little snippet of my fab week at Tatler magazine.
